My name is Mike and I am an Edge Hill University graduate in Sports Therapy. This course has allowed me to gain a vast knowledge in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries through manual therapy techniques such as sports massage and mobilisations, as well as specific exercise rehabilitation.

I can treat all types of injuries but my favourite to work with would have to be knee or groin injuries. I like to introduce specialised rehab alongside treatment to get the best out of each session.

As well as working at the clinic for over a year, I also work in semi pro football as a lead therapist overseeing all injuries to players and helping them return to play optimally. I take them through gym based rehab and progress it to sport specific drills on the pitch to make sure it is as safe as possible to return.

Originally I’m from Shevington in Wigan, but have recently just bought my first house in Eccleston. Outside of work, my main passion is music, I don’t think I could go a day without listening! I play in a rock n roll band called Casino Club and have 5 singles released last year with some getting plays on BBC introducing, so keep an eye out👀.
